About Catholic Education
'Authentic education is liberating, it enables each person to realise their potential, to be awakened to the best of human expression and achievement - the mission of Catholic education in a Catholic school is described as a work of love with Jesus Christ as the foundation. Those who are alienated, marginalised and struggling deserve our love, commitment and advoca St Joseph's Primary School is located in Kerang on the Murray Valley Highway half way between Echuca and Swan Hill (Pop. 4100).
We continue to aspire to be more as CEO, staff, students, families and parishes working together for the common good of all.'

Ms Phil Billington, Director of Catholic Education
The teachings of Jesus, understood as Gospel values, are integrated throughout the planned, enacted, and experienced curriculum, not only in Religious Education but across all Domains and school processes.

Catholic Identity is manifested in the way schools encounter and engage in the everyday, bringing social justice to life - influencing leadership structures, planning and sharing in resources and facilities, curriculum content and process, and pastoral care. It is about being in 'right relationship' and responding to the call 'to act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with our God.' (Micah 6:8)
